Introduction to the functions of the experimental platform

Starting from practical engineering applications and convenient teaching needs, this experimental platform has the following functions:

(1) Comprehensive understanding of CNC systems

Understand the electrical composition, hardware connection, usage, and general electrical basic knowledge of CNC machine tools through the open structure of the experimental platform, and be familiar with the structure of the experimental equipment; Based on the circuit diagram on the experimental platform, preliminarily grasp the selection principle of electrical components; Understand the role of machine tool electrical equipment in CNC machine tools.

(2) Compile NC code for workpieces and simulate machining

Based on the given workpiece, compile NC code and use the graphical display function of the FANUC0iMa te system to perform machining simulation on the LCD screen. The experimental platform has two types of graphic display functions:

② Shape display: By using the CNC machine tool locking function, the machine tool can also be prevented from moving and the tool motion trajectory can be plotted.

② Motion graphics display: when the machine tool does not move, it can describe the tool path or Entitative graph of the workpiece processed in the cutting process. Motion graphics display can also be drawn in a variety of coordinate systems.
